How to Relieve Swollen Legs (Part 1)
Share
A simple rule for lighter, more beautiful legs: release the swelling the same day it appears.
Before going to bed, lie on your back and gently lift your legs straight up toward the ceiling. This position helps return blood and fluid that have accumulated in the lower body back toward the upper body, supporting healthy circulation.
While holding this position, add small movements:
-
Rotate your ankles in slow circles
-
Open and close your toes repeatedly
These gentle exercises help stimulate circulation and encourage lymphatic flow. By doing this just before sleep, your body can naturally reduce swelling overnight—so you wake up feeling lighter, refreshed, and more comfortable.
